Erin Mercurio and Audrey Raudabaugh wanted to give gardening a little bit more sex appeal–tastefully. So, we created Janey. We decided to show up that Johnny Appleseed guy by creating a flexible identity and packaging system marketed toward young, independent women. The Janey Herb Seed Starter Kit unfolds to sit conveniently on a window sill or kitchen counter and is equipped with potting material, seeds, and planting labels. The Backyard Garden set contains a variety of vegetables and can be placed in the soil to label and provide care instructions.
